ACAMBARO

Acambaro, fondé en 1526, est le siège de l'oeuvre monumentale

et de grande valeur portant le nom de Pont de Pierre comprenant neuf arches de style néoclassique et construit en 1750. On peut admirer également les Eglises de l'Hôpital du XVIe siècle, de la Guadeloupe et de Saint-Francois, du XVIIIe siècle. GENERAL CEPEDA

It is known for the numerous archaeological discoveries that have been made in this region. Some of the beautiful places of Arteaga are: the Municipal Presidency; the remains of the San Francisco de los Patos Hacienda; the San Francisco de Asís Temple, built in the 18th century; the old wheat mill from the 17th century; and the arches of the old municipal market built in the 19th century. Nearby is Narigua Valley, that features rare native rock carvings, also called petroglyphs; and Rincón Colorado, known as "The Valley of Dinosaurs", this area is considered a paleontology reserve and has a museum with a collection of some of the fossils that have been found here. In La Rosa Dam, you can enjoy the nature, and is ideal for swimming and fishing. General Cepeda is a town in the Mexican state of Coahuila.
