XCALAK

A fishing village where locals have been trained as nature tourism guides. They also provide scuba diving services. It is well know for ´s pristine environment. There are also excellent opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and biking. An important seabird and wading bird-nesting colony is located a short distance offshore in La Aguada a place with mangrove vegetation.
